Jewelery Shadow box

with Hendrika Ono

  1. Select back ground papers.

I use Japanese papers. They are exquisitely beautiful ,

with strong fiber making themstill resiliant when wet with glue.

  2. Shadow boxes are grids.

Capitalize on this structure by designing a lively contrasting pattern

within the grid.  I chose an alternating bluc /pink design.  Play around

with your pieces until you have a pleasing arrangement.

  3. Glue.

Modge podge is your best option here.  Use a foam brush and apply

paint to the back of your selected paper.  Adhere paper to box and

  allow 24 hours to dry.
